The Pride of Paoli Marching Band is comprised of the High School band members, as well as volunteer 7th and 8th grade students. Students have the opportunity to be a member of the hornline, percussion, or color guard.
What is this thing called Marching Band?
The Pride of Paoli Band competes in ISSMA Fall Competition. The Pride has received 31 consecutive Gold Ratings at ISSMA Regional, and has advanced to State Finals 28 times from 1982 to the present. The Pride has been named ISSMA Class D State Marching Champion 13 times, Class C State Champion 2 times, and the runner-up a total of 6 times.
The 2012 show is titled “The Phoenix”. Music will include selections from The Firebird by Igor Stravinsky, and Piano Concerto no. 2 by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Marching Band Rookie Camp
Our after-school camp for all new members of the Pride of Paoli will be held May 14 – 16 from 3:30 – 5:00. Students need to report to the high school band room after school. Things to bring: tennis shoes & socks, hat, instrument. Anyone interested in performing with the 2013 Pride of Paoli for their first year should attend (including hornline, color guard, and percussion).
