Concerts with Tom “Bones” Malone
Friday, May 11, our bands (grades 6 – 12) will have the AWESOME experience of getting to play with Tom “Bones” Malone. You may recognize Bones from the CBS Orchestra, which is the house band for the Late Show with David Letterman. He is also well-known for his contributions as a music writer/arranger and performer with The Blues Brothers, as well as Saturday Night Live. Our after-school camp for all new members of the Pride of Paoli will be held May 14 – 16 from 3:30 – 5:00. Students need to report to the high school band room after school. Things to bring: tennis shoes & socks, hat, instrument. Anyone interested in performing with the 2013 Pride of Paoli for their first year should attend (including hornline, color guard, and percussion).
